Your Northern Australia adventure awaits

It’s time for a Northern Australia adventure!

Visitors on the Kakadu Walking Tours stand under a large rock overhang, marveling at an ancient crocodile painting above them. One participant excitedly points at the artwork, surrounded by rocks, trees, and lush greenery that embodies the vibrant spirit of Kakadu.

We still have limited spots available for our popular June to August departures on two iconic pack-free guided walks: the 5-day Kakadu experience in the Northern Territory, and the 7-day Karijini National Park and Ningaloo Reef adventure in Western Australia.

Three people stand on a large rock overlooking a calm river at sunset, the backdrop of Kakadu Walking Tours. Green vegetation and rugged hills frame the scene, while the sky is a gradient of soft pink and orange hues.

Kakadu: Timeless Landscapes & Ancient Culture

Every Australian should experience Kakadu at least once in their life. On our 5-day journey, you’ll explore four of its most captivating regions: East Alligator, Nourlangie, Jim Jim Falls, and Mary River.

From thundering waterfalls and ancient escarpments to lush wetlands and rock art dating back tens of thousands of years, Kakadu is a sensory feast. Our expert guides lead you along the park’s best trails, sharing insights into its natural wonders and rich Indigenous heritage.

Highlights include the ancient rock art galleries of Nourlangie, panoramic views over sandstone country, and a refreshing dip at the stunning new Gunlom Infinity Pools.

A person wearing a hat and casual clothing stands by the edge of a narrow, rocky gorge with red-brown rock walls and a calm body of water beneath. Surrounded by layered rock formations, the serene scene whispers that life's an adventure waiting to be embraced.

Karijini & Ningaloo: Red Earth Meets Turquoise Sea

Across in WA, our 7-day Karijini and Ningaloo escape offers the perfect blend of rugged outback and pristine reef. Wander through the dramatic red gorges of Karijini, where you’ll descend into ancient chasms, swim in crystal-clear rock pools, and marvel at sites like Hancock and Weano Gorges.

Then, head west to the Ningaloo Coast, where the outback meets the sea in spectacular fashion. Swim with manta rays or whale sharks (seasonal), snorkel the vibrant reef, and unwind in handpicked accommodation that blends comfort with nature.

In the serene depths, a snorkeler in a black wetsuit glides alongside a majestic whale shark off the coast, its white spots shimmering under the sun. This underwater adventure mirrors the awe of Australian Walking Holidays, where every step reveals nature’s breathtaking wonders.
