Work begins on Far North Qld’s 94km Wangetti Trail. Early works have begun on the first section of the 94km Wangetti Trail in Far North Queensland.

This first section of Wangetti Trail South – from Palm Cove Jetty to Ellis Beach foreshore – is a 7,850m multi-use mountain biking and hiking trail.

This adventure offers walkers and mountain bike riders a unique opportunity to journey through the diverse natural landscapes of north Queensland. Travelling across bushland, coastal areas, and the World Heritage-listed Wet Tropics of Queensland, participants will experience the region’s remarkable biodiversity firsthand.
