Fiordland National Park.

New Zealand. A country of such natural beauty it’s very successful tourism campaign is based around a simple symbol – 100% PURE. That’s it! It’s genius. And totally accurate. NZ is 100% Pure – pure wilderness, pure natural beauty and pure hiking.

So it was a no-brainer that Life’s An Adventure’s first foray into international destinations would be New Zealand. More specifically the country’s beautiful South Island.

There are four pack-free guided walks on offer. The first one, in Fiordland National Park at the bottom of the island, allows you to experience some of the best bits of the Milford, Routeburn, Kepler and Hollyford tracks.

The view on the Routeburn Track.

This remarkable natural environment features stunning fiords, spectacular waterfalls and snow-capped peaks. Ancient rainforest clings impossibly to the mountains; waterfalls tumble hundreds of meters into massive fiords; shimmering lakes and granite peaks look the same today as they did a thousand years ago.

The magnificent Milford Sound.

One of the many highlights on this pack-free guided walk is exploring Milford Sound, which author Rudyard Kipling described as the ‘Eighth Wonder of the World’.

Queen Charlotte Track.

Heading to the top of the South Island, Life’s An Adventure offer three unique walks. The first is three days exploring Queen Charlotte Sound with its ancient beech forests, fern-fringed coves and ridgelines revealing breath-taking views of Queen Charlotte Sound and Kenepuru Sound.

You’re taken by private boat to the start of each day’s walk and collected at the end of the day to your accommodation at the 5-star waterfront Bay of Many Coves Resort famous for its magnificent views, and excellent local cuisine and wine.

The next walk is four days exploring Abel Tasman Coast Track on Abel Tasman National Park. This area is known for its rich native forests, beautiful beaches and idyllic inlets. Once again you are transported to and from the walk and to your accommodation via private boat. You stay at the secluded Awaroa Lodge where excellent meals and wine await.

Comfort and luxury await at Awaroa Lodge.

The final walk is a combination of the Queen Charlotte and Abel Tasman walks creating a six-day experience not to forget.

So if you’ve never been to the ‘Land of the Long White Cloud’ or not for sometime, then one of these pack-free walking holidays is for you!
