From the UNESCO-listed Geirangerfjord and soaring alpine trails of Jotunheimen National Park to the colourful waterfront of Bergen and elegant streets of Oslo, the journey showcases the remarkable diversity of Norway.

During a recent webinar, Norwegian guide Roger explained that this variety is one of the tour’s greatest strengths. “On the third day we explore Norway’s most famous fjord, Geirangerfjord, one of only two UNESCO World Heritage-listed fjords in the country. You’re surrounded by towering cliffs, cascading waterfalls and tiny farms clinging impossibly to the mountainsides.”

The walking takes you into spectacular alpine country, where rugged peaks, wildflower-filled valleys and crystal-clear waterways provide a stunning backdrop. But this is more than just a walking holiday. With the weight of a full pack taken care of, you can concentrate on the scenery and enjoy each experience along the way.

The itinerary also allows you to experience Norway from different perspectives. Cruise through majestic fjords beneath towering cliffs, kayak on pristine waters and explore quiet alpine valleys on foot. Historic villages and charming towns provide opportunities to discover Norway’s culture and heritage, while time in Bergen and Oslo adds a taste of the country’s vibrant urban side.

After each day’s adventure, boutique and historic accommodation provides a comfortable place to relax, while delicious Nordic cuisine adds another highlight to the experience. It’s a journey designed to combine active exploration with plenty of comfort, making it possible to experience some of Norway’s greatest landscapes without carrying everything on your back.
