The beautiful Freycinet National Park is one of the most spectacular National Park’s on Tasmania’s east coast. It is home to world-famous Wineglass Bay – voted as one of the top 10 beaches in the world and nestled beneath picturesque, granite mountains, The Hazards, which dominate the landscape. These scenic wonders are stand-out features on the 4-Day Freycinet Peninsula Circuit Walk – a 34 km circuit walk that takes you to remote locations few visitors get to experience. Enjoy beachside camping at Cooks Corner, summit views from atop Mt Graham and a night spent on the shores of Wineglass Bay itself. Your camp & carry experience includes all camp & carry equipment and food along with the security of our Self Guided Walking App, complete with detailed track notes and information that will enrich your experience of this world-renowned destination.
Designed by Life's An Adventure
Exclusively designed by Life’s An Adventure, the Self-Guided Walking Tours will be more than just a set of track notes on your smartphone. Our fully interactive Self-Guided Walking App includes easy-to-follow walking notes with GPS tracking, photos of track junctions and points of interest en-route as well as information about the natural environment. The app will give average walking times, distances for each section and even optional side-trips as well as short and long walk options for each day.
As well as having the walking app on your phone, you get track information on the Google map platform, so each waypoint on each walk will be triggered as you arrive at that point, whether it be a fork in the track or point of interest to guide you along the way. This gives real-time feedback so you know you are exactly where you think you are! On top of this, you receive a good, old-fashioned hard copy of each day’s track notes.
Discover on your own
Discover Freycinet at your own pace. This self-guided walking holiday offers flexibility and freedom. You walk independently but follow detailed walk notes, knowing that the notes have been compiled by one of our experienced guides. Not only do our guides know these tracks inside out, but they have also included in your package points of interest regarding local history, flora and fauna.
