Our 5-day pack free Arnhem Land guided walk explores the highlights of the Gove Peninsula, a vast wilderness area in the northeast corner of Australia’s Northern Territory, defined by rocky escarpments, gorges, rivers and waterfalls. It’s home to the traditional landowners, the Yolngu people. We’ll explore Nhulunbuy and culturally significant coastal locations in the region, as well as taking a 4WD adventure to Bawaka, 60km south of the community of Yirrkala, to get an insight into Yolŋu homeland life. Experience traditional spear fishing and crab hunting. We then enjoy a luxury island escape on the northernmost tip of beautiful Bremer Island. Banubanu Beach Retreat offers stunning, uncompromised views of pristine beaches, natural landscapes, and the alluring Arafura Sea.
One of the biggest drawcards of this tour is that our guests won’t be asked to carry their clothes or overnight bags for the entire tour, these will be transported for you each day. With Life’s An Adventure, you will carry as little as your water bottle, camera and lunch each day!
