You will love this innovative and amazing 5 day Kimberley, Bungles and beyond guided walking experience. Explore the dramatic landscapes and gorges of the Kimberley as we enjoy a spectacular heli-hiking experience to the remote fingers of Piccaninny Gorge (a place which is only normally accessible on a 3-day hike with a heavy pack).
Come with us on a wonderful journey as we explore the spectacular beehive domes of the Bungles. Part of the mystique of the Bungle Bungle range is that although it has a rich Aboriginal culture for over 20,000 years, it was not until 1879 that the first white Australians saw the brilliance of this hidden jewel. But we don’t stop here, we then head further into the Kimberley to explore the magnificent gorges and rainforest pockets of El Questro with its spectacular landscapes and amazing walking trails. This will be a journey you will remember forever with so many memorable moments included!
This 5-day innovative walk is like no other tour! Your journey walking tour has been designed to provide a remote wilderness walking experience in the Kimberley. Enjoy a heli-hiking experience in the ancient Bungle Bungles in Purnululu National Park, a World Heritage Site and one of the most striking wonders of Western Australia. Then head to El Questro, located in the East Kimberley, showcasing an outstanding diversity of landscapes from rugged sandstone ranges to rainforest pockets, stunning gorges and palm-fringed waterholes. No need to carry heavy overnight packs or cook your own food, this walk is a pack free experience that has been designed for those looking for a multi-day walking holiday with all the creature comforts.
A Pack Free Walking Experience
One of the biggest drawcards of this tour is that our guests won’t be asked to carry their clothes or overnight bags for the entire tour. With Life’s An Adventure, you will carry as little as your water bottle, camera and lunch each day!
Unique Heli Hiking Experience
Our journey has the option to include a spectacular heli-hiking experience into the Bungles to explore the upper reaches of Piccaninny Gorge. To experience this area, would normally take 3 days hiking with overnight camping supplies in a heavy pack. (Including one day to reach the mouth of the gorge, then another day to explore the gorge and then another day to retrace your steps and hike back to the start). With OUR journey we will access this area in a day with our helicopter dropping us at the mouth of the gorge, allowing us the day to explore the best areas of this enormous gorge, that cuts through the Bungle Range. The helicopter will then pick us up for a unique return journey. Click here to view
