Life’s An Adventure invites you to discover the natural beauty and culinary delights of South Australia’s Eyre Peninsula on a 5-day Pack Free guided walking tour. Located just a short flight west of Adelaide, the Eyre Peninsula is renowned for its pristine landscapes, diverse wildlife, and status as Australia’s major seafood hub, providing more than half of the nation’s seafood. This tour showcases the best walks and highlights of the region, combining stunning scenery with unique experiences, including a visit to a working oyster farm.
The journey begins in Lincoln National Park, where you’ll walk along scenic trails with breathtaking views of Port Lincoln and Boston Bay, the largest natural harbour in Australia. The park’s rugged coastline, sandy beaches, and granite headlands create a variety of landscapes to explore, with each day revealing new sights and experiences. The tour also includes time in Coffin Bay, famous across Australia for its premium oysters. Stroll along the idyllic shoreline, where the calm waters and white sandy beaches provide a picturesque setting for your walks.
A highlight of the tour is a visit to a local oyster farm, where you’ll learn about oyster farming techniques and sample fresh oysters straight from the water, experiencing the region’s renowned seafood culture firsthand. Walk with as little as your water and lunch
We have designed this walking holiday so you can enjoy the scenery without the heavy burden of carrying your clothes or a heavy pack. Walk with as little as your camera, lunch and water each day and we will take care of your bags being transported to your accommodation.
2 night stay
Spend 2 nights at Port Lincoln Hotel in Port Lincoln, a city on the Eyre Peninsula, in South Australia.
Guests stay in Ocean View Balcony Rooms that have private balconies overlooking Boston Bay with a comfy queen or king bed and ensuite. The hotel offers a restaurant, 3 bars, a fitness centre and a heated swimming pool.
Featuring views of the bay, Sarin’s Bar and Restaurant has a two-way fireplace, and serves a variety of seafood and local dishes.
2 night stay
Almonta Park Lodge is a fabulously designed home set in the hills surrounding Coffin Bay, affording amazing panoramic views from the Marble Range to the majestic sand hills of the Coffin Bay National Park.
Enjoy 2 nights in this 4-bedroom house featuring a relaxing spa bath, a spacious outdoor dining area and a cosy fireplace.
The air-conditioned house features a dining and lounge, a fully equipped kitchen, a laundry and a shared bathroom.
Guests can relax outdoors on the terrace and enjoy the magnificent sea and mountain views, you might even spot some local wildlife.

Our guests will enjoy a spectacular Oyster Farm and Tasting Tour with lunch afterwards back at Oyster HQ!
Wade out into the water, sit at the semi submerged tour deck ‘The Salt Water Pavilion’ which is located right in a working commercial Oyster farm. Hear from the Oyster Farmer about how oysters grow and Oyster farming practices. Taste the freshest and most famous Coffin Bay Oysters you’ve ever tasted, straight out of the water! A very unique culinary experience! This tour includes a tasting of 4 oysters each.
The oyster farm tour is approx 1 – 1.5 hour tour, with the Oyster Farmer himself, sitting in the water of a working commercial oyster lease, learning about and tasting Coffin Bay’s finest oysters, fresh out of the water.
Wear comfortable clothing as you’ll be putting waterproof waders on over the top of what you wear. Bring a waterproof camera if you have one, and a pair of socks to help you get into/ out of the waterproof waders.

Experience the ultimate lunch seafood indulgence afterwards back at Oyster HQ for a seafood platter!
The Line & Label Restaurant, Peter Teakle Wines
As a special treat on day 5 after our walk, we enjoy wine tasting and a celebratory a la cartre lunch at The Line & Label Restaurant, Peter Teakle Wines.
The food here will definitely tempt your tastebuds featuring local and seasonal produce.
Set ‘up on the hill’ overlooking Port Lincoln and Boston Bay, our Chief Winemaker Liz Heidenreich and the Peter Teakle Wines team works with passion and commitment to bring magnificent fine wine for you to enjoy.

SUGGESTED PRE-TOUR NIGHT HOTEL: We suggest the Port Lincoln Hotel in Port Lincoln; this is also our meeting point at 6:30pm for dinner on our first night.
WALK ITINERARY: Today is an arrival day. Book your own flight to arrive any time into Port Lincoln and make your own way to the Port Lincoln Hotel, overlooking the magnificent Boston Bay. Your accommodation has been booked in Ocean View Balcony Rooms that have private balconies overlooking the bay. Accommodation is based on twin share (for solo travellers see pricing for a Single Supplement). At 6:30pm meet your guide and fellow walkers in the hotels’ Sarin’s Restaurant for a welcome dinner.
TRANSFER TIMES: Morning: 1 hour transfer from Port Lincoln Hotel to start of the trail. Afternoon: 45minute transfer from end of walk to accommodation.
WALK GRADE: 15kms. 6.5-7hrs hours walking with breaks. Easy to Medium Grade. Moderate to Good level of fitness required.
TERRAIN: Various terrains from beach walking, coastal paths along the headland to in-land walking through mallee and tea-tree woodland.
WALK ITINERARY: Enjoy breakfast in the hotel restaurant, before meeting your guides in the foyer at 8.00am for our transfer to the start of todays walk at Stamford Hill ending at Cape Donington. A scenic and wonderful trail through Lincoln National Park with views over to Port Lincoln and Boston Bay. This varied trail takes you through a few different coastal ecosystems with varied flora and fauna. Granite headlands, scenic bays and sandy beaches fringe Boston Bay, the largest natural harbour in Australia. If we’re lucky we may even encounter Heath Goannas, the elusive Western Whipbirds, Southern Scrub-robins and Superb Fairy-wrens along the way. At Cape Donington we’ll drive back to our accommodation to enjoy a delicious dinner served with wine.
TRANSFER TIMES: Morning: 45minutes transfer from Port Lincoln Hotel to start of the trail. Afternoon: 1hr 10minutes transfer from end of walk to accommodation in Coffin Bay.
WALK GRADE: 18kms. 7hrs hours walking with breaks. Easy to Medium Grade. Moderate to Good level of fitness required.
TERRAIN: Various terrains from beach walking, coastal paths along the headland to in-land walking through mallee and tea-tree woodland.
WALK ITINERARY: Enjoy a lovely breakfast before checking out of our accommodation, and transferring to the start of our walk which is where we finished yesterday at Cape Donington. Today will walk south to Taylors Landing. We’ll hike through coastal heath, enjoying the refreshing sea views and rocky granite coastline with some of the most beautiful secluded beaches in Lincoln National Park. Afterwards, we’ll transfer to our accommodation in Coffin Bay. Almonta Park Lodge is a fabulously designed holiday house set in the hills with amazing panoramic views from the Marble Range to the majestic sand hills of the Coffin Bay National Park. Enjoy two nights in this 4-bedroom house featuring a relaxing spa bath, a spacious outdoor dining area and a cosy fireplace. Tonight we’ll eat a delicious dinner served with wine.
TRANSFER TIMES: Morning: 10-minute transfer from accommodation to Long Beach, Coffin Bay. Afternoon: 10 minutes to accommodation.
TRAIL NOTES: 4km, 2-hours walking with breaks. Easy Grade.
TERRAIN: Mostly flat path following the coast.
WALK ITINERARY: Enjoy a hearty breakfast at the Lodge before we head down to Long Beach to walk part of the ‘The Oyster Walk’ as it meanders through the coastal vegetation and idyllic shoreline of Coffin Bay, famous around Australia for its oysters. This trail combines the history of oyster harvesting in the district with a scenic walk of superb views as well as an opportunity to observe the area’s fauna and flora. We’ll arrive at Oyster HQ to enjoy a spectacular Oyster Farm and Tasting Tour with lunch afterwards back at the restaurant. We’ll be putting on waterproof waders over the top of our clothing and wade out into the water of Coffin Bay to sit at a semi submerged tour deck ‘The Salt Water Pavilion’ which is located right in a working commercial Oyster farm. We’ll hear from the Oyster Farmer about how oysters grow and Oyster farming practices. Then taste the freshest and most famous Coffin Bay Oysters you’ve ever tasted, straight out of the water! A very unique culinary experience! Afterwards we’ll have lunch back at Oyster HQ before heading back to Almonta Park Lodge to relax and unwind. Tonight (if we’re still hungry after todays feast!) we’ll enjoy dinner at the Lodge served with wine.
TRANSFER TIMES: Morning: 45-minutes to Winery. Afternoon: 10 minutes to Port Lincoln.
OPTIONAL WALK TRAIL: 2-3km return, 1-hour walking with breaks, Medium-Hard Grade.
TERRAIN: Optional walk from the Lodge to the surrounding hills.
WALK ITINERARY: After breakfast, enjoy an optional walk from the Lodge to the nearby dunes or relax at the house. Mid-morning enroute back to Port Lincoln we’ll stop at Peter Teakle Winery (or similar) and enjoy a guided wine tasting experience before a delicious a la carte lunch at The Line & Label Restaurant. Afterwards, we return to Port Lincoln. The end of a fabulous journey.
FINISH TIME: Arrive back in Port Lincoln at approximately 3pm.
The tour is only available for private groups of 6 or more people.

* A deposit of $300 per person is required to secure your booking. (unless taking advantage of Earlybird or Spot Specials in which full payment is required at time of booking).

* Prices are based on twin share of rooms. If you are travelling solo you may be required to share with someone of the same gender. If this is not suitable you can request to pay a single supplement, however, limited single rooms are available per trip so are on a request basis.
