One our favourite destinations is the magnificent Three Capes, a couple of hours south of Hobart.

Our Walk Three Capes pack-free guided walk explores the natural beauty of the Tasman Peninsula in the far south-east corner of Tasmania, a region famous for its three spectacular capes featuring the highest, vertical seas cliffs in Australia and a dramatic coastline of caves and towering sea stacks.

We walk to the spectacular and must-do Cape Raoul with its dramatic dolerite cliffs. We walk to stunning Cape Hauy to view the famous ‘Candlestick’ and ‘Totem Pole’ sea stacks and we walk the gorgeous Tasman Coastal Track, between Waterfall and Fortescue Bays, with its lush rainforest and breathtaking coastal views.

Now you all know we love to throw in a ‘Wow!’ factor in every one of our walks, well the one for our Three capes trip is truly next level.

You have the option of a heli-hike onto Tasman Island and then flying back to Hobart instead of the two hour ride back on the Life’s An Adventure bus – which is fine as it’s a pretty ride but we reckon the views would be more spectacular from the air!

Accommodation on the Three Capes walk is at the lovely Stewarts Bay Lodge where you’ll stay in a deluxe spa chalet and dinner will include tasty local cuisine and fabulous Tassie wines!
