Our Portuguese Camino gets a glowing reference!
We are never happier than when we get great feedback from our guests and these words from Jennifer who walked our 8-day Portuguese Camino pack-free guided walk says it all!
“It is evident that much care has been taken in planning this trip. Our guides Abbey and Mathieu delivered professional, friendly and caring attention to our every need.
“Abbey, who just radiates warmth and good humour, organised great snacks and lunches, really spoiling those of us who had preferences or needs.
“I enjoyed having Mathieu as a guide with a knowledge and passion for plants and history. Walking with him I learnt so much. It was an unexpected bonus for me on my Camino.
“Both guides were delightful and I thoroughly enjoyed their company and care.
“We were asked to stay within vision of our guides and as one who was often straggling I can ensure you that Mathieu would constantly look back and check he could see where we were.
I would be thrilled to turn up on another of your adventures and find either of them as my guide.”
This Camino walk has been specifically designed for Australians with limited time, that wants to experience the Camino track from Portugal.
On this 8-day tour, we follow the pilgrim route from the Portuguese town of Porto to the end of the camino in Spain at Santiago de Compostela.
As this walk includes the last 100km into Santiago de Compostela, guests are entitled to receive the pilgrim certificate – the Compostela.
We have specifically chosen the traditional inland camino route over the Coastal Portuguese Camino, as we believe it is a better route showcasing gentle hills and forests, past quaint villages and historic towns as well as the pretty countryside.
