Our Kosciuszko walk is blooming awesome
Just five hours south of Sydney, the NSW Snowy Mountains are putting on a spectacular show of wildflowers — and our 5-day pack-free guided walk through Kosciuszko National Park is the perfect way to experience it.
Each summer, Kosciuszko National Park comes alive with a vibrant display of colour. Alpine meadows and high-country plains are blanketed with blooms such as the iconic snow daisy, silver snow cushion, and alpine sunray.
You might even spot the rare Kosciuszko buttercup adding golden highlights to the rugged terrain. In the subalpine regions, you’ll also find unique flora like billy buttons and mountain pepper.
These resilient wildflowers thrive in the park’s harsh alpine climate, creating a stunning natural tapestry from December through February — the ideal time to join our guided hike.
Our walk is designed to be pack-free, so you can fully enjoy the breathtaking scenery without the burden of a heavy backpack. For three of the five nights, you’ll stay at the charming Valhalla Lodge in Perisher, located right in the heart of the national park.
Each evening, return to a warm lodge, savour delicious meals, and unwind with a glass (or two!) of outstanding Aussie wine.
It’s an unforgettable alpine experience combining natural beauty, relaxation, and adventure — no heavy lifting required.
