Our European Alps Walk is music to your ears

Your adventure begins in France where the Mont Blanc massif rises in all its majestic glory. Even the most advanced Imax camera would struggle to capture the sheer scale and beauty of these soaring peaks. Here you can marvel at glaciers with names so dramatic that they seem to belong in an operatic soundtrack.

From there you cross into Italy where the mountains appear to grow even more expressive. Jagged peaks and towering cliff faces rise around you, shaped by centuries of weather and geological drama. They resemble the work of a very enthusiastic giant armed with an oversized chisel who has carved out a gallery of natural sculptures. The views are bold, striking and filled with energy.

Then, rather like Julie Andrews on a generous holiday budget, you wander into Switzerland where the world becomes wonderfully green and peaceful. Calm pastures stretch out beside tidy villages and rolling valleys that seem determined to charm every visitor.
