As a World Class Guide at Life’s An Adventure, Glenn has spent the past 16 years shaping journeys that go far beyond the trail. Since joining the team in 2010, he’s blended a rare mix of skills (part adventurer, part storyteller, and part chef) to create something truly special in the wild landscapes of Tasmania.

Glenn’s path to guiding wasn’t conventional. Before swapping kitchens for coastlines, he spent 20 years as a professional chef. That background now plays out in one of the most unexpected and delightful ways on tour- whether it’s a beautifully prepared meal after a long day on the track or the thoughtful way food becomes part of the story. On the Bay of Fires, in particular, guests quickly realise they’re in for something extra.

But it’s not just the food.

Relocating to Tasmania allowed Glenn to fully immerse himself in the island’s rugged beauty, and his passion is contagious. From the ancient geology of Cradle Mountain to the delicate ecosystems of the Walls of Jerusalem, Glenn has an ability to bring the landscape to life, sharing insights on history, flora, fauna, and the ever-changing environment with genuine curiosity and enthusiasm.
