It’s action stations on our Karijini tour

If you love rock hopping, jumping into waterholes and scaling dramatic gorges, you are going to enjoy our action packed 7-day Karijini National Park and Ningaloo Reef pack free guided walk.

Half of this journey is spent exploring the remarkable landscapes of Karijini National Park, home to ancient rock formations that date back around two and a half billion years.

A stunning geological formation with layered rock walls surrounds a vibrant blue natural pool fed by a small waterfall. Ideal for walking holidays, the curved rocks create a dramatic, secluded canyon atmosphere, with lush greenery visible at the top.

Walking through narrow chasms and beneath towering red cliffs, you will uncover the striking features of Dales, Hancock and Weano gorges, each offering its own distinctive character shaped by time, water and the forces of nature.

The park is also home to several of the highest mountains in the state. Reaching their summits can be both rewarding and demanding, yet the effort is more than compensated by expansive views across the rugged Pilbara.

A group of hikers with backpacks and hats embarks on an Australian Walking Holidays adventure, navigating a rocky trail in the dry, open landscape under a clear blue sky.

The contrast between the deep red earth, the bright green spinifex and the vivid blue skies creates a landscape that appears almost otherworldly, inviting you to pause and take in the beauty that surrounds you.

During your stay, accommodation is provided at the Karijini Eco Retreat in comfortable Deluxe Eco Glamping tents. Although the setting is remote, you will enjoy excellent meals and quality wines, ensuring your evenings are as enjoyable as your days of exploration.

A wooden signpost stands on a rocky trail surrounded by lush greenery, perfect for walking holidays. It points left to "Circular Pool" and right to "Fortescue Falls," guiding adventurers in a natural park setting.

The combination of thoughtful hospitality and extraordinary scenery makes this experience feel both enriching and deeply memorable.

As the adventure continues towards Ningaloo Reef, the diversity of Western Australia truly reveals itself. While we cannot promise you will earn a Scout badge for your efforts, we can promise a holiday filled with discovery, natural wonder and moments that will stay with you long after you return home.

A person floats in a natural pool surrounded by towering red rock walls, a perfect pause during walking holidays. Nearby, a hat and red clothing rest on a rock ledge. The scene is serene and enclosed within the reddish canyon walls.
