Get back to nature in Wilsons Prom
At the southernmost tip of the Australian mainly lies the spectacular peninsula of Wilsons Promontory National Park. Covering over 50,000 hectares this is a landscape of rugged granite mountains, lush rainforests, pristine beaches and stunning coastline.
Life’s An Adventure’s 3-day pack-free guided walk lets you really get to know Victoria’s favourite national park. This incredible walk has been designed so you can experience a range of landscapes in ‘The Prom’ from the mountains to the sea.
On land, you’ll enjoy a range of walking experiences discovering the spectacular landscapes of the north, west and east, and you’ll also explore the Marine National Park by boat, to fully appreciate its beauty and grandeur.
Enjoy short walks along Norman Beach, Picnic Bay and Squeaky Beach – named after the squeaky noise the sand makes as you walk on it!
The park is a refuge for an array of native wildlife including kangaroos, emus, wombats, echidnas and vividly plumed birds like rosellas. Visit in spring to experience spectacular displays of wildflowers including orchids, wattle, heathland and other species.
And if you want your trip to continue there’s also the 6-day Wilsons Prom and East Gippsland walk that includes all of the above PLUS Mitchell River and Croajingolgong national parks.
