Life’s an Adventure’s 4-day Fleurieu Peninsula walk is being showcased in the Dec-Jan 2022 issue of Great Walks magazine.

And now that the border to South Australia has opened quarantine-free to residents of Victoria and NSW you can go ahead and book your dream walking holiday to this wonderful state.

South of Adelaide, lies the stunning Fleurieu Peninsula. This coastal paradise is famous for its dramatic and distinctive coastline, famous wineries including the world-renowned McLaren Vale as well as delectable gourmet cuisine.

The 4-day walk explores a diverse range of scenery from bushland to waterfalls, along trails through the vines and sections of the 1200km Heysen Trail as it winds its way along the Waitpinga Cliffs. The ultimate combination of walking, food, wine and coast.

“How cool to trek through one of SA’s most picturesque regions,” write Carolyne Jasinski in the artical.

“Think rolling hills with scatterings of sheep, cattle and dairy herds. Picture pockets of scrub and hectares of national parks stretching to the horizon, bush tracks to waterfalls lined with delicate wildflowers.

“Imagine hundreds of kangaroos, signs of elusive echidnas and so many birds that the chirping interrupts many a conversation. Then top it all off with spectacular coastlines lined with jagged cliffs plunging into wild seas.”
