Explore Arnhemland with us – Australia’s final frontier
You will never feel more proud of Australia than during our five-day Arnhemland and Kakadu Ultimate pack free guided walk.
This remarkable journey invites you into landscapes that remain almost entirely untouched, places where ancient stories are written across stone and country.
Arnhemland’s beauty and cultural heritage are usually closed to visitors. The land is carefully protected by the local Aboriginal communities who have cared for it since time immemorial, and access is rarely granted. We are honoured to have received special permission to guide guests through this extraordinary region and to share its spirit in a respectful and meaningful way.
This experience combines adventure, culture and comfort, offering exclusive opportunities and high quality accommodation that elevate the journey beyond the ordinary.
Your tour begins with an introduction to the remote northern reaches of Arnhemland. Here you will arrive at the secluded Davidson Arnhemland Safari Lodge, a truly distinctive place to stay that blends natural tranquillity with genuine cultural depth.
During your two nights at the lodge, you will have the privilege of walking through sacred Aboriginal land that holds more than fifty thousand years of history.
The region is home to one of the world’s greatest collections of rock art. Expert guides will lead you to extraordinary sites, including a striking six metre depiction of the rainbow serpent, located only a short walk from the lodge. Standing before these ancient images gives a profound sense of connection to the oldest continuing culture on Earth.
After exploring Arnhemland, your journey continues into majestic Kakadu National Park. Here you will discover rugged escarpments rising above sweeping wetlands and waterfalls that spill into clear pools.
Kakadu also contains many significant Indigenous art sites that offer powerful insight into the deep cultural traditions of the region. Our aim is to share these incredible places with you in a way that enriches your understanding and leaves you with lasting memories of a landscape that is both timeless and treasured.
