With a 98% satisfaction rating, don't just take our word... here's what our clients have said about their Six Foot Track touring experience
All our passengers are surveyed after our trips to ensure they enjoyed their experience. Due to lack of space we can't list them all, but here is some of our most recent feedback.
________________________________________________________________ Christine Lonsdale, March 2012 Christine Lonsdale, March 2012 Meals - Excellent. The food was fresh, tasty, varied and plenty of it. Added bonus of not having to cook it myself! Guides - Excellent. Adrian, Nigel and Dennis were fantastic and would recommend them to anyone or request them again. The entire walk went smoothly from a logistic perspective and very professionally organised by Adrian. Dennis and Nigel were very friendly and supportive, made us feel very relaxed and safe. Camping experience - Excellent. Again it was wonderful walking into the campsite with our tent set-up and ready to go, along with the chairs, cheeses and drinks waiting for us on arrival. The cot/mattress was very comfortable and the tent was of great quality. The Lodge - Excellent. The lodge was extremely well set up, better and more comfortable than we were expecting with the most amazing hostess to greet us and send us on our way the following day! The view from the loo was pretty impressive too. Tour - Beyond Expectations. We are definately doing another tour in spring! Can't give any better recommendation than that! Thank you! ___________________________________________________________________ Elizabeth O'Sullivan, March 2012 Meals - Excellent. All meals were absolutely fabulous! Guides - Excellent. The crew were amazing .... Denis, Adrian & Nigel were seemed to be able to anticipate any needs of the group. They always greeted us with a smile and no job was too big or small for them. Camping - Excellent we were very comfortable. Eco Lodge - Excellent. Loved the lodge and our 'hostess with the mostess' Willy! Tour - Beyond Expectations. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a three day trek. The second day was a lot more grueling then we expected, I do wish we'd prepared better for the day of uphill walking. But I should also say that the feeling of satisfaction walking into Jenolan Caves after three days walking was absolutely worth it! The guides and logistics were wonderful and I can not speak highly enough of them. They looked after us from the moment we met them. Should you get Denis, Adian or Nigel I can assure you that you are in the best of hands. We will definetely be booking another trip with 'Life's An Adventure'. _____________________________________________________________________
Julie Simpson, March 2012 Meals - Excellent. Brilliant- couldn't be better! Adrian and Nigel did an incredible job- fabulous! Guides - Excellent. Again- could not be faulted! Adrian, Nigel and Dennis were friendly, helpful, encouraging, interested, sensitive- amazing! I felt extremely well loooked after and very confident that I was in capable hands! Camping - Excellent. Slept like a baby! The quality of the equipment exceeded my expectations to the point that I can't wait to book with you guys again. The Eco Lodge - Excellent. Brilliant! Again exceeded expectation. Willi was brilliant! What an amazing character! Loved it- could have stayed longer... the dip in the Cox's River was wonderful! Tour - Beyond Expectations. Had a brilliant time- will definitely recommend you guys! ____________________________________________________________________
Susan M, March 2012 Completed the Six Foot Track was with Life's An Adventure. This is a walk from The Blue Mountains to the Jenolan Caves. After a week of wild weather in Sydney the Cox's River was in full flood. The sun shone on us for three days. The walk was challenging, but we were helped by great guides, Michael and Amy. The food was lovely, fresh baked fish, salads, curries, roast lamb, crepes with a glass or two of wine. Adrian cooked, set up camp and transported our sleeping gear. Fun walking companions. A lovely weekend.

Helen McDonald, March 2012 I wanted to say how glad Wayne and I are that we persevered with our intention to do the walk, given that we first booked for January 2010. Thanks to you and Vicki for your co-operation and willingness to allow us to reschedule, we have now enjoyed one of the best walking weekends in our experience. So we’ve finally done it, had fantastic weather, met a great group of people, survived the sore muscles, and haven’t stopped talking about it all week to friends and family. Congratulations on a great adventure experience. _______________________________________________________________________
Ray & Christine, March 2012 My husband and I have just completed the Six Foot Track with the Life's An Adventure team. Michael and Amy were friendly, helpful guides along the track whilst Adrian did a superb job with logistics - preparing our wonderful meals (with wine and cheese!), setting up our tents and comfy bedding on our second night - even the outdoor shower! We would recommend doing this great - but very challenging - walk with LAA - it certainly beats carrying all that gear for 44 kms! _________________________________________________________________________
Brian Binley, March 2012 Meals - Excellent. Just as good as described! Guides - Excellent. Guides were very helpful, couldn't fault logistical support Camping - Good. Everything provided did the job perfectly well. Eco- Lodge - Good. Beautiful setting, facilities were fine. Tour - Beyond Expectations. Would definitely recommend to others, and will look into doing other walks with you. _______________________________________________________________________
Mary Leaker, March 2012 Meals - Excellent. The food was fantastic - and Adrian clearly had all of the logistics well under control. Very impressed! Guides - Excellent. Enjoyed Dennis' knowledge of the bush and his company - very caring towards the group. Great guide. Really enjoyed the lodge. Willy good value - she took the ladies swimming which was fantastic. Tour - Beyond Expectations we've also walked in the bay of fires with your company and would recommend it to anyone - love the fact that the group aspect of things is not a major focus. _________________________________________________________________________
Sandra d'Alpuget, Nov 2011We were most impressed with the quality and range of food and drinks provided. Everything was perfectly presented in coordination and we felt very spoilt. Certainly wouldnt do the trek to lose weight !!! Our guides were supportive and encouraging all the way. Nothing was too much trouble. They made the experience seem easy and care free.
Arriving to find our tent site set up was a mirage on the horizon. It was all very comfortable and well organised - even a hot shower - what luxury. Tour well beyond expectations and were very grateful for the fully supported tour. We couldnt have attempted it without the assistance. It was terrific in every way. Many thanks for making our dream a reality. Am already recommending to everyone. __________________________________________________________________________________________ Michelle Taylor, Nov 2011 Meals amazing for camp food. Guides excellent - Hold on to Daniel for as long as you can - perfect gentleman, professional, all-round tough guy and strategic operator - they don't make them like him anymore! It was Shai's first gig and he was fantastic - helpful, friendly, hard-working and Willi - what a gal with a such a laugh and so many bush stories. Felt like I was at home in everyone's company! What a team - nothing was an effort and no problem was too big! Tour Beyond Expectations. The stuff of memories! I'm nostalgic already and it was only yesterday I was there! Thank you! ____________________________________________________________________ D. Osbourne May 2011 Congratulations Kat, Adrian, Tim & Mark on being absolutely outstanding guides & support staff on my recent Six Foot Track Adventure. The knowledge, care & attention to every detail made my walk way beyond my expectations. It was a wonderful experience & i hope to join you for another trip in the near future. Well done to all !!!!!! ____________________________________
Annabel May 2011 I just wanted to say a big THANK YOU to you and your team for a really amazing weekend walking the Six Foot Track. It was the first time I have ever done anything like this but it certainly won't be the last. Kat, Adrian and Timmo were fantastic. Nothing was ever too much trouble and they were able to put everyone at ease if there was any concern. Kat's knowledge of the Blue Mountains was incredible. She truly is a treasure. Not only was it a great adventure, we actually learnt something! Thank you also for your own care & concern about the cold. I don't think any of us were fully prepared for the cold snap but the fact that you shared sleeping bags, blankets from the Eco Lodge & your own personal clothing made us all feel a lot better. We all felt like a family by the end of the 3 days. Even though it was harder than I anticipated & it was colder than I was prepared for, this was definitely one of the best experiences I have had in a very long time - thank you so very much. I look forward to doing the next one. Thanks again, Annabel (a new convert to the joys of hiking). May 2011. ________________________________________________________________

We had a great time and will remember our walk forever. Great food and a well arranged tour - thank you to everyone involved. A special mention of Kat, our guide, who was simply superb. A great guide with an excellent knowledge of botany, she has the perfect personality to guide and really added to our enjoyment of the trip. R & M Marshall. April 2011

The food was delicious. who would have expected vietnamese rolls in the middle of the bush. Dinner with the great storyteller, Willy was a highlight as was smoked salmon and salad on the mountain top after a long hill climb. Daniel was very competant, capable, knowledgable and friendly in a quiet way. He kept the whole group motivated and tended to all our needs. I would happily do a tour with him again. Tour Beyond Expectations. I was very impressed with the tour.I came away with new motivations for myself. We had an interesting mix of people on the trip. I had many great conversations during the 3 days.In fact, I think I'd like to do the trip again! J.Balsom March 2011.

Food - Excellent. High quality, excellent variety, banquet amounts. Guides - Excellent, Very instructive, friendly and helpful. Camping experience - fantastic in every way. Night one, I had the best night I can remember for many years. Overall impression of the tour - Beyond Expectations. I felt I was in safe hands of experts which, with great weather, made for a very memorable time. Carole Bennetts, Sept 2010 __________________________________________________________
Excellent Food. Very impressed from the outset. Excellent quality, variety. Was nearly a gourmet foodies tour! Snacks were adequately catered for also - this was something that I was initially concerned about and so packed extra snacks, however there was no need to do so. Particularly impressed with the guide's willingness to prepare such fabulous meals and the clean up afterwards. Personally, I was happy to assist with the clean up after each meal, but the guides were particularly adamant that we (guests) should be relaxing and enjoying ourselves instead. Wish all three guides all the best, and a huge thank you for such a memorable experience as a result of their experience and dedication. All helped put the group at ease, and encouraged us to get to know one another and really make the most of the experience. Facilities at lodge, beds, bedding, company, host, all brilliant - couldn't have asked for more! Willie was the most entertaining part of the night, and the opportunity to swim in the river was an added bonus.Overall impression of the tour - Beyond Expectations. The guides and the people made it - a wonderful experience that has inspired me to do more of this sort of thing more often. Jacqui Susan, April 2010 _______________________________
The food far exceeded even the highest expectations and really contributed to the overwhelming success and enjoyment of the trip. Guides Excellent. Again, the work put in by both Mark and Dan was relentless in order to ensure our comfort. It almost felt that we had the easy part of the deal walking 45kms. Camping Equipment Excellent. I carried my own tent and mattress, but in terms of the camping kitchen, chairs, shelters, chairs, drinks, toilet .. nothing was left out and everything was provided and delievered with pride. The Lodge Excellent. The eco lodge was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. I did initially wonder if it was a bit of a cop-out not to be camping both nights, but the eco lodge really added to the trip as I learnt about things like how to responsibly collect and use rain water and working towards living entirely self sufficiently. Not to be missed. Overall Tour Beyond Expectations. Well worth the money and highly recommended for a trip that really lets you experience the Blue Mountains nature and wildlife. The menu was varied and delicious. We were genuinely surprised by the quality and quantity of food at all parts of the track. Easter egg delivery at the lodge was a nice touch! Our guides were excellent - Dan was absolutely outstanding. Helpful and flexible and approachable at all times. He had a breadth and depth of knowledge, and wisdom that belied his tender years. Tim was likewise helpful and approachable, and was a great conversationalist around the fire and walking. They were a good team. Thanks so much for the special care and attention we received over the 3 days! Overall tour was beyond expectations. We felt cared for above and beyond the call of duty. We have recommended you to people already and we are looking forward to another trip with you. Michael says you werë "basically perfect"and we all tend to agree. I just wanted to congratulate you on creating a wonderful experience with the Six Foot Track adventure. Despite challenging weather, I had a fabulous time. The logistics of the walk worked beautifully and the food was way beyond my expectations. Mark, Pablo and especially Daniel as our guide did a wonderful job of making our experience fun, safe and rewarding. The other walkers in the group were special too and I am sure we all had a great time. I will go out of my way to recommend Life's an Adventure to my friends and I will keep an eye on other adventures you offer. Sue Clarke, Feb 2010

Just a brief note to thank you for a splendid weekend adventure. The unexpected snow just added a different dimension we didn't expect. All of us thought that both, the scenery and the organization of the walk ( especially the food!!) surpassed expectation. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the walk to others, or to do it again some time. Kind regards, and please stay in touch Gabriel Sept 2009

The food was terrific. It was not the camping food I was expecting at all and there was so much of it. First camping trip I have been on which wine and beer was supplied in abundance and it was very welcome after a hard day of walking. Daniel was extremely professional and helpful looking after the group. We were very well looked after and he seemed to really click with our group. Mark was terrific making sure everything was alright when we stopped for meals or for the night and everyone was happy and comfortable. It was great to have had both Daniel and Mark hosting our hiking expedition. Lovely to have met both of them.
Tour was beyond expectations. This was the first time I had been to the Blue Mountains and I had an amazing time doing this trip. We had a wonderful group, tour guide and host which really made the trip. Linda Waldron Nov 2009

Food Excellent. I'm really impressed that gloves were worn by our guide on the track to prepare our food I know we appreciated the hygiene. The food tasted great was really yummy and kept our energy levels up which was great. The variety was great, and I was pleased to see heaps of food at every break. Thanks guys...
Guides Excellent. I was very surprised at the variety of knowledge Daniel knew about not just the blue mountains, animals, flowers etc but overall about other places and stuff to. Very interesting gentleman. I was impressed that he was constantly dilligent in making sure everyone was ok and doing everything possible for us. Daniel gets my vote, and my thanks, well done , I hope I get him as guide on future trips too. He allowed us to truly relax because it was clear he was getting things happening and updating us. He was great at encouraging us too. Thanks Excellent Overall Tour Beyond ExpectationsYou guys providing a deluxe package where you looked after us so well meant despite a chronic pain condition camping was do-able for me so I was more than excited about it, and the added bonus being single is I got a break too, I felt more than spoiled and really appreciated it. I had to resist the urge to help out more and have a real break and that was do-able because Daniel just jumped in there and did everything so quickly Carol Richards, Nov 2009 _____________________

The Leader Mark is a great character and added to the event. I would certainly do another event with Life's An Adventure. Jacqui Watson, October 2009

Food was wonderful. One of the highlights and definitely a bonus - something to look forward to after a day of walking. Guides Excellent. Daniel was exceptional, friendly, helpful, and extremely professional. Accommodation was great. An important aspect of these activities is the opportunity for a social get-together in the evening. Daniel was great, good fun in his quiet shy even tempered way. had my best conversation of the trip with him. The tent was great and good size for one. Mattress was a nice surprise. The lodge was warm cosy and Willy was great. Food good & setting unbelieveable .
