Kayaking in Sydney is a wonderful way to experience the harbour. This kayak tour will show you the best of Sydney's outer North Harbour around beautiful Manly. Explore pretty beaches and coves, see the dramatic sandstone headlands of this magnificent part of the harbour. Learn about the history of the area including the Quarantine Station. Along the way we will stop for a delicious picnic lunch including fresh prawns, ham off the bone, crust breadrolls, fresh salads and more at a remote beach accessible only by water. Detailed Kayak instruction is given before each paddle making this tour suitable for beginners or advanced kayakers of a reasonable fitness. Tour Availability: Available daily subject to availability and minimum numbers.

Inclusions: Dedicated guide, kayak tuition, picnic lunch, kayak & PFD (life jacket) hire

Duration: 10:30am to 2:30/3:00pm

Kayak Tour Prices: Adult: $125 per person. Child 10 -16yrs: $105 per person. Prices are per person in Australian dollars and include GST. A booking fee of $3.50 applies.

Tour Discounts: Save $10 per person on Thursdays and Saturday kayak departures.

Fitness level: This is a 4 to 4.5 hour kayak tour, including kayak tuition, paddling and lunch break, suitable for all persons with average fitness from beginners to advanced.

Meeting Point: Craig Avenue Boat ramp, Little Manly Beach, Manly.
Craig Avenue is off Stuart Street, Manly a short walk from the Manly Ferry.
Street parking is available in Stuart Street and the nearby streets.

What to bring: To ensure you keep well hydrated, please bring at least 1.5 litres of drinking water. We also recommend a hat and sunscreen and if you want to enjoy the beach, bring your swimming costume and a towel. A PFD (life jacket) will be provided for you. It's a good idea to bring a towel and change of clothes for after the kayak.

What to wear:

You will get wet when kayaking from the paddle splash as well as getting wet feet as you get in and out of the kayak. Please wear comfortable lightweight clothes (no jeans), wear a hat and crocs or shoes which can get wet. Bring your swimming costume if you would like to enjoy a swim. Bring a lighweight wet weather jacket in case of rain.

Please note: we have kayaking booties we sell to wear on your feet $35 and we also have kayaking gloves available $25. Also dry bags to keep mobiles and phones dry can be purchased for $20. These can purchased when you book or on the day (subject to availability of your size)


Winter Paddles: We run kayaking tours all year round. We will provide you with spray skirts which keep you warm and stop you getting wet from paddle splash. Please wear a wet weather jacket to keep you warm and dry on top.
