Join us for a relaxing kayak on the magnificent Grose River in the lower Blue Mountains. This is a truly spectacular paddles that explores unspoilt wilderness and high gorges. Our paddle follows the historical route taken by the earlier explorers in their attempt to cross the Blue Mountains. Whether you're a beginner or an advanced kayaker, this will be a fun day out and a great way to mix and meet new people.

meeting point

Meet at the end of Ashton Road(Grose River Road), Grose Wold - the end of Navua reserve). Look out for your host who will be wearing a Life's An Adventure t'shirt.

There are a few options to get you to the start of this kayak.

Driving: For driving directions please click on  the green A icon on the map above and select "Get Directions to here" and enter in your home address. Driving directions will then automatically be displayed.

Train: Travelling to Grose Wold by Public Transport: the closest train station is Richmond. On arrivalyou will need to then catch a taxi .Visit www.131500.com.au for more details on train times.

Includes kayak and life jacket hire as well as kayak tuition.
We provide fresh fruit to enjoy during your kayak and a delicious lunch.

what to bring

To ensure you keep well hydrated, please bring at least 1.5 litres of
drinking water. We also recommend a hat and sunscreen and if
you want to enjoy the beach, bring your swimming costume and a
towel. A life jacket will be provided for you. It's a good idea to bring a
towel and change of clothes for after the kayak.

what to wear

You will get wet when kakaying, so please wear comfortable
lightweight clothes (no jeans), wear a hat and crocs or shoes
which can get wet. Bring your swimming costume if you would
like to enjoy a swim.

fitness level

This is a half day paddle, suitable for all persons
of reasonable fitness from beginners to advanced. If you are
unsure that your fitness level is suitable for this event,
please email us to qualify your ability.
