Blue Mountains Grand Canyon walk
Enjoy a guided walk through this unique Grand Canyon in the Blue Mountain. The Grand Canyon is a narrow chasm about 180m deep, incised into the yellow-orange sandstone by the cascading waters of Greaves Creek, upstream of Beauchamp Falls. The canyon is unusual in that it gives you a good sense of canyon scenery without the need for ropes and abseiling. It is shaded and beautiful place rich in ferns, trees, moss covered logs and the special atmosphere only a rainforest area can create. On this fabulous bushwalk you'll also experience fern gullys, tunnels carved through rocks, waterfalls and panoramic views of Grose Canyon. We'll stop along the way and enjoy a delicious lunch in a picturesque location. Half day guided tours available daily. This is a half day hiking tour of 10kms for those with a good fitness levels.
Medium bushwalk with some lots of steps. Opportunity for walkers to bushwalk in undisturbed natural environments mostly along defined and distinct tracks with several steep sections requiring good level of fitness. |

Catching the train:
If finding your own way to the Blue Mountains. Catch the train to Blackheath Railway Station and then we can organise a pick up for you from there.

Driving up the highway from Sydney, continue past Katoomba to Blackheath on the Great Western Highway. The railway Station is on the left hand side opposite the shops. |

| Hotel Pickups: |
The Blue Mountains is roughly a two hour drive from Sydney, rather than hassle with various public transport connections, why not let us pick you up from your hotel and drop you off at the end of the day.
Please be waiting in the hotel foyer. Those choosing hotel pickup will receive bonus sightseeing in the Blue Mountains after your walk. Pickup time will be at 9.30am unless otherwise advised. Drop off time will be at approx 6.30pm
Transfers are available for this tour from any hotel in the Sydney CBD or Manly area.
Return transfers............. $30 per person

| What to bring: |
We suggest bringing a backpack to carry all your personal items. To ensure you keep well hydrated, please bring at least 2 litres of drinking water (on extremely hot days double this amount). We also recommend sunscreen and a hat. You may like to bring a camera to capture the amazing scenery you'll experience along the way. |

| What to wear: |
Please wear comfortable clothes, hat and enclosed walking shoes. Wear clothes to maintain a comfortable body temperature, we suggest wearing layers. Bring a light weight rain jacet in case of rain. Do not wearing jeans as you may overheat. High heeled shoes, thongs, sandals or skimpy shoes should not be worn.
