Experience a unique journey in the lower Blue Mountains to magnificent Glenbrook Gorge. This beautiful walk takes us along the stunning beautiful Glenbrook Creek Gorge which is lined with magnificent sandstone cliffs to the Nepean River. A delicious lunch and snacks to enjoy all the way are included. A great day out and a fantastic way to meet new friends.

meeting point

Meet at Glenbrook Station
Look out for your guides who will be wearing a Life's An Adventure T'shirts.

transport

There are a few options to get you to the meeting point...

Driving: Drive to Glenbrook Train Station. For driving directions click on the Red Icon "A" on the map above and select "Get Directions to Here" and enter in your address in the text field provided. Once all attendees have arrived we will all drive to the starting place for the walking adventure.

what to bring

We suggest bringing a backpack to carry all your personal items.
You may like to bring a camera to capture the amazing
scenery you'll experience along the way. To ensure you keep
well hydrated, please bring at least 1.5 litres of drinking water
(on extremely hot days double this amount). We also recommend
a hat and sunscreen. Bring a head torch or small flashlight.

what to wear

Please wear comfortable clothes, hat and enclosed sturdy walking shoes.
Wear clothes to maintain a comfortable body temperature,
we suggest not wearing jeans as you may overheat. High heeled
shoes, thongs, sandals or skimpy shoes should not be used.

weather

This event will still go ahead if it rains
(Bring a light weight wet weather jacket and umbrella
if there looks likes there is a chance of rain), however
if the weather is extreme this event will be postponed to
another date.

fitness level

Grade: Easy to Moderate. This walk involves rock hopping and scrambling downstream. It's relatively straightforward and should be within the capabilities of most active walkers.  If you are unsure that your fitness level is
suitable for this event, please email us to qualify your ability.
