Join us for the popular Valley of the Waters bushwalk, one of the most beautiful walks that the Blue Mountains has to offer. Unknown to many Sydneysiders this hidden gem is a place with magnificent waterfalls, dramatic rocky escarpme  nts and spectacular scenery. Soak up the atmosphere as you jump across stepping stones to cross creeks on your way to the Wentworth Pass track and stand in awe at the top of the falls taking in magnificent views of the falls and mountain scenery. A great way to meet new friends and see one of Sydney's best kept secrets.

Meet at Conservaton Hut, Fletcher Street, Wentworth Falls. Look out for your guide who will be wearing a Life's An Adventure t'shirt.

There are a few options to get you to the start of this walk.
Driving: Drive by car & meet us at the Conservation Hut.
Driving up the highway from Sydney, turn left at the second set of traffic lights into Falls Road. Continue along Falls Road for 1.25kms and turn right into Fletcher Street. Drive 750 metres to the end of Fletcher Street and you'll find the Conservation Hut.

Train: Catch the train to Wentworth Falls and we will organise a pick up for you. visit www.131500.com.au for more details on train times.

what to bring:

We suggest bringing a backpack to carry all your personal items. You may like to bring a camera to capture the amazing scenery you'll experience along the way. To ensure you keep well hydrated, please bring at least 2 litres of drinking water (on extremely hot days double this amount). We also recommend a hat and sunscreen and if you want to enjoy the falls, bring your swimming costume and a towel.

what to wear:

Please wear comfortable clothes, hat and enclosed walking shoes. Wear clothes to maintain a comfortable body temperature, we suggest not wearing jeans as you may overheat. High heeled shoes, thongs, sandals or skimpy shoes should not be used.

fitness level:

BUSHWALK GRADE: Medium
Medium bushwalk with some hilly sections an/or rougher terrain. Opportunity for walkers to bushwalk in slightly modified natural environments on defined and distinct tracks with some steep sections requiring moderate level of fitness. Suitable for fit beginners. This is a 11km walk. If you are unsure that your fitness level is suitable for this event, please email us to qualify your ability.

check-in on the day:

 When you arrive on the day, you will need to check in with your Life's An Adventure Staff. You must sign for any pre-paid tickets or pay cash if you have chosen the 'pay on the day' option and fill in our indemnity form.
