us for a challenging mountain bike ride around Manly Dam.
One of Sydney's best rides -from beginner to intermediate
and even advanced, all enjoy this ride. You'll experience
a tight and testy track that winds it's way up and down steep
rocky tracks. This ride has some magnificent views of the
dam and the ocean. You will be transported within minutes
into the wilds of Seaforth, and begin to imagine that Sydney
has left you behind. Then gasp in awe at the beauty of the
coastline. Huff and puff your way up the steep 4WD track
to Allambie. Along the way we'll stop for a BBQ lunch before
enjoying the ride home! A
fun day out and a great way to mix and meet new people. |

| TRANSPORT: |
There
are a few options to get you to the start of this ride.
FERRY: Catch a ferry to Manly and ride/walk half a kilometre up
Pittwater road to the
Cycle shop (on your right).
CAR: Drive
to the shop and park in the surrounding street (metered
parking) or park inthe Council Car Park in Whistler Street
and ride/walk to the shop (half a kilometre).
BUS:
Buses drop off in the centre of Manly and then there is
a short ride or walk to the shop.

those who choose to pay on the day at the ride, you will
need to email us with your intention to attend, as this is
a catered event and we need to ensure we have ample food.

Please mention 'Manly Dam Ride' in the subject line
and include the number of people in your group. Please be
aware this event may sell out, so we recommend guaranteeing
your place by pre-paying. Please note if you require bike
hire you can not pay on the day, as bike hire needs to be
pre-arranged.

| WHAT
TO BRING: |
Bring
your own mountain bike (an extra charge applies to those
needing bike hire). To ensure you keep well hydrated, please
bring at least 1.5 litres of drinking water. |
| WHAT
TO WEAR: |
Please
wear comfortable and non restrictive clothing for riding
(no jeans), wear a bike helmet and any protective clothing/accessories.

| FITNESS
LEVEL: |
This
ride is technical and challenging - but easy to get off and
walk the sections that are beyond your abilities. Suitable
for all persons of reasonable fitness from beginners to advanced. If
you are unsure that your fitness level is suitable for this
event, please email
us to qualify your ability. |
| WHAT
HAPPENS IF IT RAINS? |
This
ride will still go ahead if it rains (Bring a light weight
wet weather jacket if there looks likes there is a chance
of rain), however if the weather is extreme the ride will
be postponed to a future date.. Pre-paid tickets will be
credited to the new date or another future event, sorry
we cannot refund your money.

tickets or pay cash if you have chosen the 'pay on the day'
