Guides Daniel and Brenton were fantastic. Very polite, friendly, easy-going and a delight to spend time with. Daniel had a perfect manner as our guide - informative and gave us direction but not pushy. A really lovely young man. Camping experience Night - Excellent. Great set up considering we were camping. Tents and the meal area were well organised; bush shower was an added bonus and the boys were very happy to refill the water several times for our group.
Beach shack on Night 2 - Excellent. Lovely and exceeded our expectations of a "shack". Candlelit dinner on the lawn was an added bonus and very memorable.Tour - Beyond Expectations. It was fabulously well organised and we loved your guides. I would definitely recommend it to my friends and would travel with your company again. You have a great formula - well done.

Meals - Excellent. Very impressed with how Brenton fed us. Arrived first day to cheese, bickies and lobster. And of course beer and wine. And the good food kept coming. On our last day we even had home made brownies courtesy of Kat (who made them at 10 pm!). It was fabulous. Good food and nothing was ever too much trouble. Guides Warwick and Brenton were fantastic. It was hard to believe that Warwick was so young, he was very capable and mature for his age! And everyone is really friendly, welcoming and helpful. Beach shack on Night 2 - Excellent. I was expecting a shack similar to Willie's on the 6 foot track. I did not expect a house with beds with sheets and blankets even! It was really luxurious. Loved the outside area, location etc. Absolutely wonderful. I expected the crew/guides to be highly professional but also friendly and easy to walk with. This was totally the case. Having walked the 6 foot track, I knew the quality of your crew/guides. It was certainly exactly as advertised.

Meals - Excellent. Great food. The guides were great cooks and worked hard. We just loved the cold beer, wine and nibblies waiting for us as we dragged ourselves into our camp/beach shack after a hard days walk. Guides- Excellent. Loved them. They had great sense of humour, worked hard, seemed to enjoy what they were doing and really set the correct balance between giviing us information, and letting us enjoy the company and the views.
Camping experience Night 1 - Excellent. All good. The tents were better than expected, with comfortable bedding and a pillow! Beach shack on Night 2 - Excellent. Had a ball. Loved the way the guides set the table and served our dinner. The house was well set up and had a great aspect so it was a pleasure to sit back and relax.

The food and menu exceeded my expectations. Guides – Excellent. I cannot fault Daniel and Kirk. They could not have been better or more professional if they tried. I was very impressed with how smoothly everything ran and how well informed they were. Beach shack on Night 2. Excellent. A truly magical experience and far nicer than I could have imagined. Beyond Expectations. The whole experience from start to finish was wonderful. I did not want it to end. Meals – Excellent. Daniel provided excellent food, beautifully presented. Guides - Excellent. I was so impressed with his organisation with regard to all the logistics side of the trip and his cooking skills were fantastic. Kirk was a lovely, patient and caring guy who gave you every confidence always that things were in control. The two boys were just amazing.
Camping – Excellent. Camping experience was great fun. Again the boys were always in control and fun though always professional. Beach shack on Night 2 – Excellent. Meals – Excellent. Guides – Excellent. Kirk and Daniel were helpful, informative and easygoing guys who helped make the trip memorable for us. Safety and comfort was a high priority and every effort was made to treat any physical problems before they got worse. Camping – Excellent. The site was well set out and the tents and bedding provided were more than adequate. Beach shack on Night 2 – Excellent. What a lovely surprise after a warm walk to be greeted by this lovely house. With nibblies and drinks waiting for us and everything set out superbly. Great dinner outside by the bay and lovely fireside chatting afterwards. Tour - Beyond Expectations . The range of night time accommodation and the beautiful scenery that this walk affords.

Meals – Excellent. Cray on the first night,great. Curries on both nights were good for a warm up on cold nights and a lovely surprise to have dessert. Nice choice on wines, beer etc.
Lovely too see young guys with good hospitality skills in the bush...a real special treat!
Guides – Excellent. A courteous pair of young guys who shared their time with 11 mothers. I call that an amazing effort. Seriously, they shared their local knowledge and were very supportive to the clients on this walk and were particularly caring in some tricky terrain for older legs. Camping night 1 – Excellent. Tents we're fab, you could upgrade the sleeping bags for freezing weather though. Terrific set up for camping, shower screen, chair beside that and the hot water at the loo was super. Beach shack on Night 2 – Excellent. A total surprise, I was great full to be upstairs with the great view. The setup for dinner was fab.

Meals -Excellent. Fabulous gluten free food. All meals were wonderful and well above the standard expected. Kat was so accomodating in regards to the gluten free food and soy milk. My only concern was about the amount of food I was given at breakfast - way too much but delicious nonetheless! Both guides were fantastic. We were particularly impressed with Kat's local knowledge of flora and fauna and her capacity to carry so much in her backpack for so long!

Meals - Excellent, I am vegan and was very impressed by the food I was provided. We took extra wine and they made sure that was well chilled for us too! Guides - Excellent. They were both absolutly fantastic, nothing was too much for them. They were professional but had fun with us too. An asset to your company. Camping Night 1 - Excellent, impressed with the set up. Beach shack on Night 2 - Excellent Wow, don't change a thing. Its perfect for this type of walking tour. Loved the couches so comfy. Loved the crayfish and the blue eye trevella was delicious. Breakfasts were great too and plunger coffee a real surprise! Both our guides were fantastic...helpful, informative and fun. I have done many walks around the world and this trip was one of the best. The arrangements were seamless and the pace good. The staff were all capable and caring. The 'Shack' was comfortable and relaxing. What a delight to be greeted with pate and cheese on the lawn accompanied by a tassie wine and pleasant company. The campsite was very comfortable and well situated beside the creek and beach. At all times the food was plentiful and scrumptious.
Remember to bring a wide brimmed hat which is well secured ( or two in case of loss) and wear your swimmers as there are many impromptu opportunities for a swim.

The food was delicious and plentiful! And Kat was always happy to accommodate dietary requirements. The guides (Kat, Kirk and Daniel) were all extremely knowledgeable, professional and helpful. Always ready with interesting information and cups of tea! Kat was also a terrific foot whisperer - always at the ready to tackle blisters and sore feet. Camping facilities excellent. A welcome end to day one. Arrived to find tents up, bags delivered and sleeping bags ready to roll out. The wine was on ice and nibblies ready to go. Dinner was delicious and beds very comfy.
Beach shack night 2 excellent. Great to be able to have a hot shower and toast toes by the fire. Very comfortable and a great place for a relax and chat about the day. Tour beyond expectations.

The food varied which was good; very tasty and the wines were also very good. The staff were excellent in the prep of the food and food was available at appropriate times. Well done to staff. Our guide Elise was wonderful and worked very hard all the time. quality of the tents and equipment - Good. Only suggestion to have a clothes rack of some kind in the tent particularly for when it rains. The beach shack on Night 2 - Excellent, loved the location and it was very comfortable. Great food, everything there was wonderful. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole trip. The great staff we had really helped our enjoyment. Our main guide was above and beyond expectations ; she was wonderful !

They were amazing in every respect. Wen’t well beyond our expectations, nothing was too much trouble. Extremely professional but still had great sense of humour and were lots of fun. Beautifully laid out campsite, option of hot shower although couldn't be bothered having one! Slept like a log. The beach shack on Night 2 Excellent - Loved it!!! Ambience was great, we all had a really relaxed fun time inside on the couches and by the camp fire. Overall impression of the tour - beyond Expectations, way above expectations. A credit to Kat & Dan, they went to so much trouble and nothing was a problem.

Our guide, Kat, was very informative and professional and made our trip most enjoyable. Dan, also contributed to make our trip comfortable and really great. We had an absolutely great time. Great atmosphere, lovely quiet camping spot with quite a lot of wildlife. Really relaxing. Beach shack on Night 2 was excellent. Beautiful spot and having dinner out under the stars on the edge of the bay was fantastic. Enjoyed wonderful meal and sitting around the fireplace. Really lovely atmosphere. Enjoyed spectacular scenery, from sparkling blue water, brilliant white sand beaches, rugged orange lichen clad rocks, shell beaches, black rock shores, following wallaby tracks through scrubby vegetation and spotting wallabies, wombats, possums & all manner of seabirds. Great company and food. It was really a memorable experience.

We went not knowing how beautiful the area would be nor did we know how well we would be looked after. The walk was easy to handle , except last day where we walked in softer sand.. a little challenging . Kat, our guide was fanatstic, she was knowledgable but not overbearing. We all went at our own pace and talked with friends and strangers alike. . The food was great, the accomm was great and the scenery was to die for. You could not see more beautiful beaches anywhere and the whole tour was run very well. We wanted for nothing, except the chocolate the possum stole from the campsite!!!!

The scenery was spectacular every step of the way. Our guide Warwick and the other support people - Daniel, Sue & Kat are a credit to the company. They work tirelessly to ensure our every need is looked after. I loved that our luggage was transported to the next site each day. Kat & Warwick were very knowledgeable with the flora, fauna and local history. There were 10 of us in the group, mostly not knowing the other 8, but we all mingled well and had some great laughs along the way. The food was lovely, with meal breaks on the walks taken at some awesome places. The campsite and lodge clean and well organised. The stretchers were extremely comfortable. The bush shower was very adequate. Foot patrol for blisters or sore feet/toes. Warwick and Kat worked wonders.
I certainly enjoyed the lovely cool wine and nibbles waiting at the end of each day!

Guides were knowledgeable, personable, and capable and ensured that everyone had a positive experience regardless of ability. An overhanging branch that brushed against the top of the tent all night was a bit of a nuisance. The beach shack on Night 2 was excellent, wasn't expecting anything so deluxe. Funky, comfortable, well-appointed and can't beat the view. Tour beyond expectations. Fabulous way to see a spectacular part of our country. Loved the whole experience.

Meals - Excellent. Food was wonderful, beautifully prepared fresh and plentiful. Great variety of food for lunch and snacks. Guides - Excellent. Kat was AMAZING- so positive, friendly professional and informative. She is an asset to your organisation, I cannot praise her enough. She coped well with medical issues, varying fitness levels and special dietary needs. Daniel was great too- polite and eager to help - excellent cook. Just wanted to let you know that our walk on the Bay of Fires exceeded our expectations. We had a most enjoyable time and the group have made lasting friendships. We would especially like to acknowledge your staff for their commitment to making our experience one of a lifetime. Des was the best Tour Guide you could have and we would like to thank him and you. Karl was the best cook (the meals were fabulous) and Henrick was just great company. Everything ran to plan, yet was relaxing as well. This part of Tassie is just so beautiful and we are so happy that we succeeded in finishing the walk. We only have one disappointment with the whole experience and that is we were supposed to lose weight however we put it on, but it was worth every kilo. Thanks for a great time. Excellent Food. Pre-dinner aperitifs excellent quality and unexpected. Hot drinks on hike also beyond expectations...extra water and propane had to be carried along. Coffee bags, and choice of drinks, very good. Stand-up tents, mattresses and soft foam pillows, made this very posh camping indeed.Tour beyond Expectations. Would unreservedly recommend this tour to friends. No improvements to tour - Outstanding as is!

The food was terrific. Carl did a great job! Des our guide has a real passion for what he does. Well informed, thorough, jovial, very aware of individual needs and ensuring that everyone has a great time.Was great to have everything set up for us. Well organised. I was rather nervous being 53 years old and not having been on an extended walk for 25 years! I need not have worried! I think the main contributing factor to the success of the trip was our guide, Des. He was professional, well organised and I felt totally safe. We laughed and had such a lot of fun! He had a thorough knowledge of the area and his enthusiasm for the Bay of Fires and natural environment in general was infectious! Des has excellent interpersonal skills and has a wonderful leadership style. I hope that your company is able to offer more walks within Tasmania. We will certainly be enthusiastic participants. Thank you for offering such a wonderful experience! Very special memories.

Amazing what you can cook on a BBQ( or what Karl can ), who would expect crayfish, brie and wine when you arrive at a campsite in the middle of nowhere!!!! Our guide Daisy was great -really knowledgeable, fun and professional amazing what she could pull out of her pack from a cup of tea to tim tams (yummy). Karl our fabulous chef and Hendric were very friendly and helpful
The fire was amazing. tent was comfortable. Tour Beyond Expectations - really fabulous experience.

I have been meaning to give you feedback re our trip on March 25-27 Bay of Fires. We had a terrific time with a great bunch of fellow treckers and your staff, Des our leader , Henry our rousabout and our wonderful cook , the quiet irish guy Carl . They did a terrific job. Des was very funny and very keen to share his knowledge while having a share in our fun !!!! He was even known to help dry our feet after water crossings!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Look at the pictures . He was very relaxed and flexible.Our group stuck together and we all enjoyed each other. Please pass on our thanks to Des and the boys . If you can pass on these photos to Des , that would be great .

Gosh how time flies. Back at work over a month and the serenity f the Bay of fires seems light years away. I just would like to give you some feedback, First Des was a great guide and person. Very well balanced, engaging and somebody you could have confidence in. The other guys setting up camp were also dedicated and great company and highly professional. It was a brilliant tour. We are telling our mates how good it was and we appreciate the use of the sleeping bag as well

I have recently completed the Bay of Fires tour and wanted to leave some feedback. The 3 day weekend that we had at the Bay of Fires was simply outstanding. Everything was catered for, fantastic scenery, amazing insight into the area, and fabulious food, wine and a shower at the end of the day! I cannot recommend our Life's an adventure team (Des, Carl and Henrik) highly enough. We had, I think, the best walking guide I've ever met, Des. He was so capable and knowledgable, and put everybody at ease. All in a days work for him, but a memorable experience for me. I would happily go on any other Life's an Adventure tours in Tasmania in the future! Thanks so much.

Just to let you know that the Bay of Fires four day walk was a splendid experience. The ground crew and Zane our guide did a excellent job. Weather was kind. Scenery was as expected and the food.... !!!!!! Wonderful. Everyone I am sure had a positive and rewarding time.
